Daedalus and Icarus Video for Kids

Children’s video on Daedalus, the greatest inventor of Ancient Greece, and his son Icarus.

The video shows representations of Daedalus’s inventions (the Labyrinth, Ariadne’s Clue), as well as how he made wings of wax and managed to escape with his son Icarus from the Labyrinth in which he had been imprisoned by King Minos.

There is an impressive representation of the flight of Daedalus and Icarus, with the tragic finale of Icarus’s death and the lonely journey of Daedalus to Sicily.
